A beautiful historical hotel in the optimal location with outstanding staff. Room was newly furnished and well soundproofed, it was just what we needed. The food was gorgeous, we loved hot waffles, hardboiled eggs and cheese for breakfast.

Picturesque location & exceptionally pleasant personnel - great value. The breakfast was super, with lots of eggs, cheese and hot waffles. I slept so comfy in the good bed. I loved their friendly check in and the service was thoughtful! The place was right next to the heart of Pickering.

Impeccably clean and well priced place with top-class staff. The breakfast was magnificent with savoury food. We really enjoyed the way our queen room was.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very spotty.

It's perfect base for sightseeing and exploring Pickering. Staff was willing to help with things I needed. Hassle-free check-in, efficient location. A nice touch is also the free hot beverages in the main bar.

Everything was very clean and the atmosphere was lovely all around. Comforts of double room were fabulous - a stone fireplace, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a hospitality tray. We were greeted by excellent host. Furthermore, parking on-site was a bonus...

Breakfast was lovely and the team was excellent. 500 metres away from the hotel there is the black swan inn, which is a good dining choice. Greatly enjoyed that the venue was close to the train station, 5 minutes' walk. Welcome base for weekend in Pickering
